Fibrlok™ Kit

A major breakthrough in splicing technology, the Fibrlok™ II permanent splicing system is a field operable method of quick and simple fibre splicing. It offers the user a truly cost effective alternative to fusion splicing and does not require any polishing or epoxies. Suitable for use with single mode or multimode fibres, a choice of three fibre size splice combinations is available. With the minimum of tooling and operator skill a high performance permanent splice can be produced in about 30 seconds. Mean insertion loss on multimode fibres is less than 0.1dB with the splice yielding a mean return loss of -60dB on single mode fibre.,Fibrlok™ II is a trade mark of 3M United Kingdom PLC
