Hirose UFL Series Ultra Small Surface Mount Coaxial Receptacle Connectors

UFL series ultra small and lightweight SMT coaxial receptacle connectors with a space saving PCB footprint of 7.7 mm² and weighing just 15.7 mg. These UFL receptacles have a high frequency performance from DC to 6 GHz with a VSWR of 1.3 to 1.5 maximum. This performance makes them ideal for use in a wide range of miniature devices. Supplied on tape and reel, these receptacles can be positioned using automatic placement equipment. When mated with the UFL plug assemblies a tactile click is produced that confirms that a secure electrical and mechanical connection has been made. A range of mated heights from 1.9 mm to 2.4 mm are possible when using this UFL receptacle with the UFL plugs.

UFL SMT coaxial cable connectors are suitable for use in miniature devices that require high frequency transmission.

To meet the frequency requirements of a wide variety of miniature devices, the connectors offer high frequency performance from DC to 6GHz, with a V.S.W.R. of 1.3 to 1.5 max.
Automatic board placement:
Packaged on tape-and-reel the receptacles can be placed with vacuum nozzles of the automatic placement equipment.
Plugs are terminated with ultra-fine coaxial (fluorinated resin insulated) cable:
Standard ultra-fine coaxial cable of 0.81mm diameter (single braid shielding) is used for the plug termination, assuring secure and stable connections.
Simple connector mating / unmating:
Use of available extraction tool assures correct disconnection of the plug and receptacle.
Verification of the fully mated condition:
Tactile click sensation confirms fully mated condition, assuring complete electrical and mechanical connection.
