Bluetooth Modules

Bluetooth modules are wireless enabling components that are attached usually to a motherboard that will enable the device to broadcast and connect via a Bluetooth signal. A Bluetooth can be installed in many different devices and can greatly improve the basic functions of the device. Bluetooth technology have ’classes’ and these classes range from 1, 2 or 3. The level of the class will determine the range of the device, with class 1 being the best in this range for operating range. Also worth considering when choosing your Bluetooth module is the version number. Ranging upwards from 1.0 to 4.0+ the levels will again determine the functionality levels, such as range and power consumption, with the higher end of the number range holding the best in its class.
