RS PRO Ceramic Bead Ceramic White 2.6 g/cm³ 0% +1200°C
These interlocking ceramic beads from RS PRO are designed for electrical wire insulation. They're also known as fish spine beads for their shape and provide flexible insulation in environments with temperatures of up to +1200°C.
The beads are made from tough steatite Ker 220 material, which is abrasion-resistant and doesn't absorb humidity, protecting the wires from damp. The interlocking design easily follows the curve of the wire for flexible coverage. The bore size is 1 mm, which will fit a range of standard wires.
These robust beads have high mechanical strength, making sure they'll protect the wires in a range of industrial settings, especially those with high operating temperatures. You'll find ceramic beads inside vacuum systems and 3D printers as well as any application that requires protection from continuous heat or abrasion.
